These Things I Love About You.....

My Sweet Baby Megan,

These things I love about you....
1. The way you smile with your whole face. You crinkle your eyes and nose and open your mouth as wide as can be.
2. The way that you always smell so good and sweet.
3. The way that you coo and babble all day long to anyone who will listen.
4. The fact that you are sleeping through the night and have been since 7 weeks old. Thank you!
5. The cute way that you suck your thumb. The minute you lay in your crib, your thumb goes straight to your mouth.
6. The way that you let your sister maul you with hugs and kisses and don't mind that she does it and how much you love her back.
7. The way you make our family so much better and remind us of the simple, precious things in life and that families really are worth being together forever!


My darling two year old Avery-Ann,

These things I love about you....
1. The way that you are so full of life and energy. Sometimes you wear mom out, but is sure is fun to see you climb and run and dance and jump and climb and run and dance and jump some more!
2. The way that you are talking and making sentences and asking so many questions. Curiosity brings out a lot in you! You know your ABC's and the numbers 1 through 12 and recite them everyday.
3. The way that you sing, sometimes at the top of your lungs.
4. The way that you put your baby dolls in "time out" for not listening or behaving and then explain to them why they are in time out and what they can do to be better! (You don't miss a thing.)
5. The way you love your baby sister and can't wait until she wakes up after each nap so that you can hold her and give her "eskimos" and take pictures with her.
6. The way you love your daddy! Everyday when he comes home from work is like Christmas for you! You run to him and give him big hugs and kisses and practically never leave his side until bedtime!
7. The way that you love the simple thing in life....like whip cream!!! (watch the video below)

1. The way that you still surprise me with random gifts or thoughts as if we were dating.
2. The way that you love your little girls and can't wait to come home to see them. And the way that you play with them and spoil them and especially the fact that you say you want all girls! (Although, I bet you really want a boy too! I know I do, so that I can have a little copy of you running around too!).
3. Your sense of humor. It is never dull around here; that's for sure!
4. The way that you work so hard for us and the way that you insist and like that I am home raising our children! Thank you!
5. The way that you treat me and respect me and demand that I take time for myself often!
6. The way that you help out around the house and share jobs with me so that it makes my life easier and lets us do more as a family together!
7. The way that you still love and hold me and treat me as the most amazing thing in the world! I love you too!!!!!

A few of my favorite things....

I have been having so much fun reading loads of other people's blogs and stealing their ideas, so I thought that I would spice up my blog by adding a few of my favorite things (thanks Linz for the idea!).

#1 - my family of course..... two beautiful little girls and a wonderful husband that loves all three
of us more than anything. Boy is he outnumbered!!!!!

#2 - Olive Garden.....when you're here, you're family.......what more needs to be said?

#3 - Old Navy..... you can find me shopping here if there is any money left over to spend on myself!

#4 - Country music ( and lots of other genres) ..... call me cheesy, but I love almost every country music artist and their music. Top of the list as of now is Carrie Underwood. (click on her name to watch her video "So Small")

We finally did it!!!!

Okay so it might not be too exciting, but we finally made a blog. A lot of people have been wondering and asking and even begging us to do it, so here it is! Sheesh, it is like I have a two year old and a two month old to take care of or something......No really we are excited about this and we will try to update it as much as possible.
